Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, visited the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome. The visit took place after the presentation of the Bombino Gesù project of Cairo in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt.
The Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome is considered one of the most important pediatric hospitals in the world. The visit included the cardiology department, as well as the advanced post-operative departments, as part of the discussion on the methods of collaboration between the hospital and the Egyptian Ministry of Health, in the areas of medical training and hospital management and operating systems.
The Minister Dr. Hala Zayed visited also the laboratories of the Bambino Gesù at St. Paul outside the walls, and was briefed on many research areas provided by the laboratories. All this to establish the collaboration modalities between the laboratories and a scientific research center in genetic of Bambino Gesù in Rome with and immunological diseases in Egypt. Were also discussed the cooperation in the field of genetic diseases for infirm children. In terms of treatments, surgery and joint research in advanced fields, especially as regards the therapeutic field of genetics. It was agreed to formulate educational missions to transfer Italian skills in Egypt.
The Egyptian Minister has received a copy of the large study conducted by some of the doctors of Bombino Gesù prepared for the new project that will be built in the New Administrative Capital in Egypt.
